My Qualifications

I began this path in early 2020 when my dear friend suggested that I join him in an endeavor to add a Home Inspection division to his Home Construction business. I'd never heard of performing Home Inspections before, and it only took a few minutes of research to realize that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I saw in home inspecting a place where I could pair my attention to detail alongside the excellent customer service skills that I'd honed in a long career in the Napa Valley resort industry.

Sadly, the outbreak of the Pandemic put an early end to our plans, but I wouldn't be deterred to pursue this career nonetheless. My determination to inspect led me to work for two years with Homeguard Inc, based out of Livermore. It was the absolute best time that I'd ever had while working: I was basically driving all over the Bay Area to look at people's houses and meeting their pets. No amount of wet crawlspaces or blistering hot attics could dull my passion for the job, and I treated every appointment as a challenge to do the most thorough and detailed inspection that I possibly could.

Unfortunately the 2023 year in real estate turned out to be a lot slower than I needed to provide for my family, and it became apparent as the slow season approached that I'll need to move on and find something else.  I left Homeguard and moved on, but the passion to inspect still lingered, and Wildcat was born out of a desire to both provide for my family and satisfy my need to tell people that they should upgrade their water heater's earthquake straps.

I've been certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) to inspect homes, living spaces, pools, hot tubs, manufactured homes, and Accessory Dwelling Units to the ASHI Standards of Practice.

Additionally, I strive to keep my education up-to-date and continue to seek knowledge of any new rules of standards of practice as they emerge.

I've been certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) to inspect homes, living spaces, pools, hot tubs, manufactured homes, and Accessory Dwelling Units  to the InterNachi Standards of Practice.

Additionally, I strive to keep my education up-to-date and continue to seek knowledge of any new rules of standards of practice as they emerge.

I've been certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI) to inspect commercial spaces and  workspaces to the InterNachi Standards of Practice.

I have been licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to use an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for commercial purposes. In addition, I strive to maintain my knowledge and certification to ensure that I perform my work safely and in compliance with federal guidelines.
